The Female Development World Organization’s Health push was crafted to address the mental, physical, and social health challenges facing young women. The programs that are a part of the health push include counseling and referral services, in addition to group and competitive activities like basketball and dance team that allow young women to meet like-minded friends and engage in friendly competition.
Partnership of Leaders in Academia for our youth seeks partnerships with community organizations, government entitiesThere’s a severe lack of counseling support in the African-American and Caribbean-American community for survivors of child sexual abuse. FDWO seeks to establish at least one physical location to provide counseling, group sessions, and referral service.
The Care Triage seeks to support young mothers and women who have or are experiencing a hardship. Whether immigrating from a foreign country or leaving an abusive relationship - young women with no help or resources risk getting “lost in the system”. The Care Triage service would provide many of these and other young ladies in the community, with connection to the appropriate resources and services.
